Charleen worked in the insurance industry for 13 years as an adjuster’s assistant, and commercial broker, before deciding to pursue a career in law.
In 2013, after being chosen by her peers as valedictorian, she graduated, with honours, at the top of her class, from the paralegal program and that same year, received her Paralegal license from the Law Society of Ontario.
Charleen has brought to Right of Way her vast experience in the insurance industry, along with the invaluable experience and exposure gained while training with the municipal prosecutor’s office in Newmarket, post-graduation.
Since 2013, Charleen has solely practised in Provincial Offences court for Highway Traffic Act matters, making her very knowledgeable in this field. In addition to being a practicing paralegal, she also teaches the Provincial Offences portion of the Paralegal Program at Georgian College in Barrie.
Since becoming a licensed Paralegal, Charleen has successfully advocated for thousands of clients in the Provincial Offences court, ensuring justice is accessible to all.
